Scope of Services

PaRoA Services

PaRoA's scope of consulting services addresses any or all phases from concept to operation of the installed system. This may include, or be limited to, any of the following:

• conceptualization of the system;
• verification of rationale;
• definition of scope and performance criteria;
• siting of the facility including alignment and placement of terminals;
• determination of project viability by preliminary cost estimates;
• preparation of bid and purchase documents, including specifications;
• analysis and verification of the completeness of bids;
• tracking and expediting of deliveries, construction, and change orders;
• verification of compliance with regulatory, specification and bid criteria;
• verification of rope profiles and sheave loadings;
• 3rd party review services at all stages of the project;
• inspections and incident investigations.

PaRoA Teamwork

Such services are always provided by PaRoA in consultation with management and/or principals of the facility for any or all steps of the project, in order that the assignment will fulfill its specific mission.

PaRoA Independence

PaRoA does not provide total facility design, nor does it engage in the manufacture of any components. It is not affiliated with designers or manufacturers of any ropeway systems. However, design services may be provided for ancillary facilities, as may be necessary for the completeness of the total project.
